About Yorkshire Rose Woodburning
Hi, I'm Rachel, originally from Yorkshire, England now residing in the USA. I began woodburning as a hobby during the pandemic (I had way too much time on my hands and had to find a hobby to hang on to my sanity....). I came across the art of woodburning and that was it love at first burn... My friends and family started out as guinea pigs receiving my burnings as gifts, shortly after I was getting requests from friends of family and started to make one off custom pieces.
The relaxing process of creating a piece of art along with the smell of burning wood what more can one ask for.... Only that more people can enjoy and cherish this beautiful form of art.
Images are burned 100% by hand on various wood mediums; plaques, boxes, clocks, tissue boxes, coasters etc. If you are interested in having a unique custom burning made for yourself or a loved one please contact me. with a brief description of the burning you would like doing and I will get back to you with options and estimates (if a portrait or specific object various high quality photographs will be required). Please be aware that woodburning (pyrography) takes time, if you require a burning for a special occasion please contact me at least 6 weeks before it is required. The time required depends on the intricacy, subject(s) and size of burning.
